I uh, took 8 hours this weekend and worked on my uprising anniversary drawing
I finally finished it
there is 35 hours of recorded art process not including the sketching of it
I don’t think I ever invested this much time into a non work related piece….I’m now going to nervously panic the next week over it thinking it’s not good enough.
So in a few days, it marks the 1st year anniversary of the first death of 6 my very small family suffered from the pandemic situation in a very short 2 months.
I am sorry if I seem distant or I don’t respond well to things. I may be short or just leave mid conversation. I have a lot going on in this head of mine and it’s hard to really focus on things. It will probably be like this all through March into April. I’m sorry ahead of time and if you can forgive me that’s great, if not, that is okay too.
Everyone else losing their minds over Nia or Melia possibly having roles in Xenoblade3, and I’m over here doing pushups screaming VANDHAM over and over again

and then they update the message center something like it had back 12 years ago. Please do not be offended now if I don’t get back to messages we were sending back and forth as it’s hard to see them now.
Most update I can deal with, but this is just terrible.
I’ve had my issues with DeviantART over the years, and I know most of my art friends have moved on and consider the site trash
but dang does their new protection thing work great. I get a few notifications a week about people trying to sell my art as NFTs, and take down works pretty smoothly, most of the thieves deactivate and leave once caught.
It just really stinks that non subscribers only get the 3 month benefits since most of the art I have stolen and attempted sold are a minimum of 1 year old, like they are specifically looking for art outside of that bubble
They should extend this benefit to all members though I understand it is probably really expensive to do that. I just feel if they extended it to a year or something for non subscribers then these bots or scammers would just look again outside that bubble
I guess the best I can do is offer out diamond badges to friends so they can get a one month scan to see if their stuff is being sold. Let me know if this is something you would like to do. I have some 4,000 fragments so can make like 10 badges
had a really good group therapy session today.
I went from feeling like a pathetic, not worthy of time or life sack of waste to feeling like I actually mean something to people.
Now it’s time to straighten some shit out and get stuff done so this doesn’t happen again.

does anyone know what is the acceptable pronouns for the ‘daily drawing challenge of the black and white usually of the ink variety’ this October? I remember last year I was canceled for a whole day because I called it the word that was a combination of ink and October until I started calling it drawtober.
I realized it’s coming up and am not prepared at all XD

Slated to be euthanized because he was labeled as unadoptable. He hated humans after suffering abuse. He went on to be the most affectionate kitty who never raised a paw or claw against anyone. Who had so many strange quirks like wanting to be slid a crossed the floor or never meowing just cooing

When smash brothers ultimate launched in 2018, they added Mythra as a spirit. she had the look she has as a playable character now. the covered up chest and black leggings look.
the look went over so well with fans of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 that they added it into the game as a patch back then! in the XBC2 community it was not seen as censorship, but rather an improvement XD So many jokes about how the fools just made her even more powerful
